Phrasal Verb: SET OUT - English Vocabulary
Today's phrasal verb is “set out”.

Today we're looking at the top three ways that we use “set out”.
#1. We use set out when we talk about beginning a task or project with an aim or an objective in mind. For example:
• The group set out to redesign the company's website.
• Sherlock Holmes set out to discover the truth behind the story.
#2. When you set out you start a journey. For example:
• We set out early in the morning to hike to the top of the mountain.
• The band are setting out on a European tour.
#3. If we set something out, we explain facts or ideas in a clear and organized way. For example:
• Your contract will set out the terms and conditions of your employment.
• The board has set out its goals for the coming year.
