We use them both to talk about sound, but there are differences in how we use them. If something is loud, it means that it produces a high volume or intensity of sound. Here are a few examples. The music was so loud, I had to cover my ears. The TV is too loud. Can you turn it down? if something is noisy, it means there's a lot of sound that is disruptive, distracting, or just unpleasant.
